Mitsiry Biodiversity and Climate fund is a blended finance fund that will focus on biodiversity conservation, climate change adaptation and mitigation by supporting and financing SMEs in the South-West Indian Ocean
Our vision is to replace these scenes …
In Madagascar and the least developed countries in the Southwest Indian Ocean, the root cause of environmental degradation is extreme poverty which leads to extensive ecosystem loss and overexploitation of natural resources.
MBCF aims to tackle this challenge by financing and supporting businesses that create jobs and income, provide essential social goods, enhance adaptation to climate change, and generate sustainable revenue streams, thereby reducing the pressure on natural resources.
